For UXO work, the scope should identify the activity, area, depths, outputs and limitations. Commercial comparisons are more meaningful when the underlying scopes match.

A useful distinction
A lower day rate does not necessarily describe an equivalent service.
Questions to ask when it appears in a scope
- What area, activity and decision does this term refer to?
- What evidence or output will the project team receive?
- What limitations need to be carried into the next stage?
