THE RRS GLOSSARY
Why it matters to a project
A report should communicate remaining uncertainties to the people making decisions and carrying out the works. A change in the activity may require the risk position to be reviewed.
PROJECT EXAMPLE
A survey report identifies restrictions in coverage that need to be understood by the construction team.
A useful distinction
Completion of a contracted task is not a general guarantee of zero risk.
Questions to ask when it appears in a scope
- What area, activity and decision does this term refer to?
- What evidence or output will the project team receive?
- What limitations need to be carried into the next stage?
